March 13 Update

First of all, Ruth...I echo Kristin's thoughts. Bravo for every attempt you make. It is hard work and you've got to start somewhere and it sounds like you're doing great with that. So keep it up! Good job to everyone else too. It's just so motivating and encouraging for me to come on here and see what you've written. Yesterday, I ate 1055 calories for 23 points and I did 30 minutes of Pilates. Today I ate 850 calories for 18 points (and I'm totally full, I might add!) and I did 30 minutes of Yoga "burn" (and boy do I burn...I might not be able to roll out of bed in the mornning because my abs are already killing me!) Today I tried something new that I totally loved...spaghetti squash. Don't remember if you can get it in Ecuador. It's bright yellow and longer than it is round. Anyway, you just cut it in half, take out the pulp/seeds, and microwave it skin side up. When the skin gets soft it's done. You scoop out the insides with a spoon onto your plate and it looks just like spaghetti. I made a homemade spaghetti sauce with canned tomatoes, a tiny bit of ground beef, chopped onion and various spices. I put that on the squash and it made a very yummy low point meal!
