It has ben over a week since I got on and I am so sorry! A lot has happened I read. Janine, welcome to the group. Glad to hear that you are doing well in Singapore and on the right track with losing weight. I think your 11 lbs is the best so far for this group. Very motivating!
I echo Kristen and Jen this week. I thought I was doing SOOO well. Well, I really did. I sttayed within my points and drank all my water this week. Only to step on the scale and be down only .2! It did make the difference to make me 131.8-- but still.. I had been feeling so "skinny" before getting on that scale. Why do those numbers have such an effect? It has been hard for me to ake the right choices this week becasue I feel defeated. BUT, this morning my friend Elaine asked me if I had been losing weight. so now I am telling myself I am losing inches instead of pounds. (It's probably just the outfit I have on today, but was enough to give me a boost!)
My anniversary is on the 29th. I would like to be in the 120s for that. Possible, but not realistic if this week goes the same as last week.
I am going to try to log on each day t read and post. Maybe that will be motivating.... it's fun to have the connection with you all. Kristen, I really like how you keep saying that it is a lifestyle. That ran through my head the other day as I stood in front of the big box of Splenda at Costco. I decided NOT to get it, and to keep with the "real" sugar despite the points since that is what I want to do in "life". Thanks for the encouragement. Now to make exercise a part of the lifestyle again... but oh! how I love to sleep in instead! =)
