Hi Ladies!
It is so fun to be a part of this with you all. I must confess up front that I am NOT a blogger. I purposely have tried to stay away from such things for the purpose of not getting carried away and spending too much time on the computer. However, weight loss is a constant and worthy goal of mine. AND to do it with friends whom I have not seen or heard from in a long time will make it even more delightful. For the sake of time, I have just skimmed what everyone wrote so far. I will try to keep up with all the details as we move forward together. Congratulations to those of you who have had babies. I am jealous of the extra points you get to eat every day due to nursing babies. Please eat something decadant for me.

My only excuse for needing to lose weight is the fact that I live in the States now and gaining weight is just so much easier here! This morning I weighed myself for the first time in a long time. I was horrified to see it say 135.4. So, I tried it again and it said 133. There's a 2.5 lb. weight loss in just a few seconds! =) I thought I would not press my luck to step on again. To be safe, I am going to assume I weigh 135-- but I hope not!

Here are my goals: 125 (lose 10 lbs) by May 1. That is 8 weeks, so I really should be able to attain it.
(In actuality, I would like to be 120 by summer, but I am going to take it little by little).

I am feeling very anti-exercise lately, so I would love to do it withut working out. But, that is me being lazy and I know it is not really good. Maybe reading all of your blogs will be inspiring in that regard. If not, then my first attempt at getting into a swimsuit should do the trick. =)

I am doing weight watchers points too. They are tried and true. I will try to post each night how many points I ate... just for accountablilty. My mom recently started again. Did you know they have a target counter now which takes into account your age, height, activity, etc. and gives you a specific # of points you should have? Mine came up with 24 poitns. But, I hope to stick closer to 20 points a day.

I keep telling myself..."nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"! I remember that is true... from when I was skinny before.
